What separates one extract from another
Every product here is cannabis with the plant matter taken away. What changes is how it was removed, and that decides the texture, the flavour and the price.
| Extract | Made by | Texture | Known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shatter | Solvent, purged flat | Glass, snaps | The cheap, strong classic |
| Live resin | Solvent, from frozen fresh plant | Sauce | Terpenes, because it was never dried |
| Diamonds | Solvent, crystallised | Crystals | The highest THCA on the shelf |
| Hash rosin | Heat and pressure only | Butter | No solvent used at any stage |
Prices run $34 for shatter, $60 for live resin, $65 for diamonds and $69 for rosin. That order is also roughly the order of how much work each takes to produce.
Live resin, and why fresh-frozen matters
Most extract is made from dried, cured flower. Live resin is made from plants frozen straight after harvest, before drying takes anything away.
Drying is where the volatile terpenes go. Skip it, and the extract keeps the smell of the living plant — which is the entire reason live resin costs more than shatter made from the same genetics.
Solventless, and what that actually means
Shatter, resin and diamonds are made with a solvent — butane, propane, ethanol or CO2 — which is then purged out. Done properly, nothing meaningful remains.
Hash rosin never uses one. It’s ice water, heat and pressure, and that’s it. It costs the most here because the yield is lowest and the process is the fussiest, and it’s what people buy when they’d rather no solvent touched the product at any point.
Tinctures — the extract you don’t smoke
Same concentrate idea, delivered under the tongue instead of through a rig. THC at 1000mg or 4000mg, and CBD at 1000mg or 3000mg.
Dosing is by dropper, which makes it the most precise format in the catalogue — you can move in fractions of a millilitre rather than whole gummies. Held under the tongue it comes on faster than an edible; swallowed, it behaves like one.
How concentrates compare to flower
An extract is several times stronger than the flower it came from, by weight. A gram of shatter is not a gram of bud, and treating it that way is how people end up on the floor.
You need equipment too — a rig, a banger, a torch or an e-nail — unless you’re adding it to a joint. If that’s a barrier, a 510 cartridge is distillate in a form that needs nothing but a battery, and infused pre-rolls put concentrate into something you can just light.
Temperature is most of the experience
Low and slow keeps the flavour. Hot and fast wastes the terpenes you paid for and gives you the harsh, scorched hit people associate with dabbing badly.
For anything terpene-rich — live resin, rosin — let the banger cool noticeably after heating. If you can taste the difference between one dab and the next, temperature is usually why.
Storing extracts
Cold and dark. Heat degrades concentrate fast and turns shatter into a sticky mess that’s hard to handle. The fridge is fine for anything you’re not getting through quickly, though let it come back to room temperature before opening so condensation doesn’t form on it.

Concentrates FAQ
What’s the difference between shatter and live resin?
Shatter is made from dried, cured flower and comes out glassy. Live resin is made from plants frozen at harvest, so it keeps far more terpene character and costs more.
What are diamonds?
Crystallised THCA, usually sitting in a terpene sauce. They’re the highest-testing product on this shelf.
What does solventless mean?
Made with only ice water, heat and pressure — no butane, propane or CO2 at any stage. Hash rosin is the solventless option here.
Is solvent-based extract unsafe?
Properly purged, no. Solventless appeals to people who would rather it was never involved at all, which is a preference rather than a safety verdict.
How much stronger are concentrates than flower?
Several times, by weight. Start with a dab far smaller than you think you need.
What equipment do I need?
A rig with a banger and a torch, or an e-nail. If you’d rather not, add a little to a joint, or use a cartridge instead.
What temperature should I dab at?
Lower than most people do. Let the banger cool noticeably after heating — high heat burns off the terpenes you paid for.
How do tinctures compare?
Same concentrate, taken by dropper under the tongue. The most precise dosing we sell, and no equipment at all.
How should I store concentrates?
Cold and dark. The fridge is fine — let it warm up before opening so it doesn’t collect condensation.
Can I put concentrate in a joint?
Yes, and it’s the simplest way in without a rig. Our infused pre-rolls are that done for you.
Do you deliver concentrates same day in Toronto?
Yes, in about two hours between noon and 23:00, across Toronto.
