Dried is the traditional route and the more precise one, provided you own a scale. Edibles trade that precision for something you can actually enjoy eating.
The strains we carry
All of ours are Psilocybe cubensis, the species almost everything sold in Canada belongs to. What changes between cultivars is potency and character rather than the compound itself.
- Golden Teacher — the classic starting point. Moderate, gentle in the come-up, the one most people are handed first.
- Albino Penis Envy — the strong end. A Penis Envy derivative and not where anyone should begin.
- Purple Mystic — mid-range, visual, well liked by people past their first few times.
- APE Revert — another Penis Envy line, potent, for experienced users.
- Slim Shady — a leaner cubensis with a clear-headed reputation.
Potency varies between cultivars, and between flushes of the same cultivar. Treat any strain you haven’t taken before as stronger than the last one.
Gummies and chocolate
The edible shelf runs from Zuumies at $29 up to the 4000mg Jesus Christ Super Strain gummies at $50, with Golden Teacher gummies at $35 in between.
There’s chocolate too — Milk Chocolate Crème Cookies and Dark Chocolate Raspberry, both 4000mg bars scored into squares so the bar does the measuring.
As with cannabis edibles, the number on the pack is the total. A 4000mg bar in 24 squares is about 166mg a square.
Dosing, honestly
Dried cubensis is usually discussed in these bands, by dry weight:
