THC diamonds are crystals of THCA that grow inside cannabis extract. THCA is the raw acid form of THC. Add heat and it flips into THC, which is why one rice-grain rock hits so hard.

Willo jars them loose. The pieces look like rock candy, taste of close to nothing, and land like a truck.

  • Format: loose THCA crystals in a jar.
  • Brand: Willo, a Toronto label.
  • Purity class: diamonds often run 90-99% THCA.
  • Taste: near zero on its own.
  • Best with: a dab rig, an e-rig, or a bowl of flower.
  • Onset: within minutes.
  • Duration: 1-3 hours.
  • Level: high-tolerance dabbers only.

What are THC diamonds?

THC diamonds are crystal structures of almost pure THCA, pulled from cannabis extract and dabbed for their strength. They grow out of a thick, syrupy extract called sauce, the way sugar crystals grow in jam.

That’s the definition Weedmaps uses in its dictionary. Leafly’s glossary frames it a second way: an isolate so pure the cannabinoids set solid, like a gemstone.

  • THCA: the raw, cold form. On its own it does nothing.
  • Heat: a nail, a coil, or a flame converts THCA into active THC.
  • Sauce: the terpene-rich syrup the crystals form in.
  • Terp sauce: what most dabbers add back for flavour.

How to use THC diamonds

Pick up one small crystal with a dab tool. Drop it into a warm nail or e-rig bucket, cap it, and pull slowly. Give it a few minutes before you think about a second.

No rig in the house? Crush a crystal over a packed bowl, or tuck one into a joint before you roll it shut. The burn gets less tidy and the punch still arrives.

  • Handle with a tool. Skin heat melts them.
  • Add a drop of terp sauce if you want taste.
  • Keep the jar sealed, cool, and dark between sessions.
  • Store it well out of reach of kids and pets.
Diamonds how to use

How the crystals form

Sauce is a thick, terpene-rich extract. Left to sit, the THCA in it slowly drops out of the syrup and hardens into crystal, the way rock candy grows in sugar water.

The sauce holds the smell. The crystals hold the strength. Diamonds are what you get once the two are parted.

Why the label says THCA, not THC

A cold crystal is THCA, so that’s the number a lab prints. The moment a nail or a lighter touches it, most of that THCA becomes THC. The strength on the label is the strength you feel.

Who THC diamonds are for

Daily dabbers with a real tolerance, mostly. People who have worked through shatter and rosin and want the top of the shelf. Anyone who’d rather take one tiny dab than three fat ones.

  • Right for: high-tolerance dabbers with a rig at home.
  • Right for: smokers who want to spike a bowl hard.
  • Wrong for: first dabs, edible-only buyers, and light smokers.
  • Wrong for: anyone who buys concentrate mainly for taste.

What a diamond dab feels like

Quiet going in, heavy coming down. There’s little to taste, so the effect is the only signal you get. It arrives within minutes and runs 1-3 hours, with the first twenty minutes doing most of the talking.

Diamonds and terp sauce

Terp sauce is the smell half of the same extract, sold on its own. A drop on top of a crystal hands the dab its taste back without softening the punch.

Pairing is optional. Plenty of dabbers take diamonds plain and treat the silence as a feature.

Our take on Willo diamonds

We open this jar for one reason, and that’s the ceiling. A speck does what a fat glob of shatter does. The vapour comes in clean and oddly quiet, then the weight lands about ten seconds later.

One honest limit: there is no flavour here. Taste chasers get far more joy from our live resin or hash rosin. Diamonds are for people who want the hit, plain and huge.

Willo, the brand behind these diamonds

Willo is a Toronto brand. By its own account, every product is sourced, made, and packaged in the city, and the range runs from gummies and chocolates to pens, tinctures and cannabis concentrates.

Their stated house rule is four words long: choose the best, pass on the rest. On our shelf, these diamonds are the top rung of what they extract.

THC diamonds vs shatter, live resin and hash rosin

Every concentrate trades taste against raw power. Diamonds sit at the far end of that trade. Here’s the shelf map.

Product Potency Format Who it suits
Willo diamonds (this jar) 90-99% THCA as a format Loose crystals High-tolerance dabbers chasing the ceiling.
THC Shatter 1g Not printed on this batch Glassy sheet that snaps The easy step up from flower, simple to portion.
Live Resin 1g 60-70% THC Saucy and wet Flavour first, with plenty of strength behind it.
Solventless Hash Rosin 1g Not printed on this batch Pressed badder Purists who want zero solvent in the process.
Pink Goo 510 cartridge 1100mg THC Distillate cart Anyone who wants concentrate strength with no rig.

Pick diamonds when strength is the only score that counts. Pick live resin when taste is. Rosin splits the difference with no solvent at all, and the cart skips the whole rig question.

Common questions

What are THC diamonds made of?

THC diamonds are crystals of THCA, the raw acid form of THC. They form inside the thick sauce left behind by extraction, then get separated out. Heat converts the THCA into active THC.

How strong are THC diamonds?

Diamonds often run 90-99% THCA, per Weedmaps, which puts them at the top of the concentrate shelf. This jar carries no printed lab number, so start with a rice-grain piece and wait a few minutes.

THC diamonds vs shatter – what's the difference?

Shatter is a flat, glassy sheet of extract that cracks when you break it. Diamonds are loose crystals of near-pure THCA. Shatter is kinder to portion and carries more taste. Diamonds hit harder per speck.

Where can I get THC diamonds in Toronto?

EX Weed Delivery stocks Willo THC diamonds and runs them across Toronto in about two hours. The minimum order is $50, delivery costs nothing past $70, and we check ID at 19+.
